IT’S GREAT TO BE BACK
We can’t wait to welcome you back into our lovely Hall. Your safety is of the utmost importance to us and we have implemented several guidelines in accordance with the latest Welsh Government guidelines to ensure that we are as COVID-19 secure as possible.
From 18 February 2022 Covid passes will no longer be required to gain entry to events at the Brangwyn Hall.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
FACE COVERINGS
From 28 February face coverings are no longer mandatory, but we kindly request customers to continue to wear them in all public areas, except hospitality.
VENTILATION SYSTEM
In line with Covid fresh air guidelines, fresh air supply fans have been increased to 100% to increase fresh air supplies into the building. Internal CO2 monitors have been set to 800ppm to increase the amount of fresh air being supplied
The filters on existing air handling units have been upgraded to increase the particulate capture.
ONE-WAY SYSTEM
Where possible, we have amended the usual layout of the venue to accommodate a one-way system to minimise social contact during your visit. Please follow the floor signs.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
There is no legal requirement as of 7 August 2021 to socially distance, but we would encourage you to stay apart from customers outside of your group as much as possible.
TICKETS
Where possible, please use e-tickets, which will minimise social contact or bring along ‘Print at Home’ tickets to avoid collection queues at the Box Office. Ticket scanning devices will be used on entry to the auditorium, where possible.
CONTACTLESS PAYMENT
We advise you to buy tickets online or use contactless payment in the venue to avoid unnecessary contact.
REFRESHMENTS
Please be reminded that masks are required whilst standing, so do not consume food or drink whilst standing and take all refreshments to your seat.
HAND SANITISERS
Sanitisers are located at each main entrance and exit and outside each door to the auditorium on all levels; please use frequently.
CLEANING
Enhanced cleaning of toilets, the auditorium and touch points will take place.
CHECK FOR SYMPTOMS
If you are experiencing any of the identified Covid-19 symptoms, it is very important you do not attend the performance / visit the Hall. Where possible we recommend taking a Lateral Flow Test prior to attending a performance. This is not a mandatory requirement, but would be a considerate measure for the people around you
NON-ATTENDANCE DUE TO COVID-19
We will offer an exchange, or credit if you or any member of your party are unable to attend due to: Covid symptoms, a positive test result, or a requirement to isolate.
If this happens, please email us at swansea.grandreservations@swansea.gov.uk before the start time of the performance you’re due to attend and will get back to you to process your credit or exchange within the next couple of days. We may ask for proof.
PERSONAL POSSESSIONS
Please do not bring large bags into the Hall as there is nowhere to store them safely and they cannot be taken into the auditorium.
LEAVE MORE TIME
There may be additional checks and procedures to complete, so please leave plenty of time for your arrival. The auditorium will open at least ¾ hour prior to the performance start time, whenever possible.
LIFTS
Only one person / group can be permitted in the passenger lift at any time. We encourage customers to use the stairs if they are able to.
Many thanks for your patience and assistance with implementing these
COVID-19 safety measures. We hope you enjoy your visit.
